The EPA rates the standard 4.3-liter V6 (fitted with a six-speed automatic gearbox and rear-wheel drive) at 18 miles per gallon in the city and 24 mpg on the highway. A mid-range 5.3-liter V8 fitted with all-wheel drive gets 16 mpg city/22 mpg highway.
