The 39 MPG 2018 Chevrolet Equinox Diesel Seems Like A Hard Sell,”I wrote after Chevy’s mid-size crossover’s fuel economy numbers dropped in August of 2017. The vehicle would flop, I suspected, and now, about two years later, GM is giving up selling the thing due to “low demand.” You don’t say?

Default I love mine :)

In my second year of ownership, I average mpg in the high 30s, sometimes low 40s if I drive steady with light foot. I live in the Washington DC area and traverse the 495 and 95 highways. I love my purchase. My vehicle is roomy and is feature laden and gets hybrid like fuel efficiency or better! GM should have marketed this better. On the other hand, fuel has been steady in the low $2s now, so people don't care as much for mpg.
