The pinion bearings are worn and the pinion shaft is lose. I would like to have the carrier rebuilt but can not find a rebuilding kit. Looks like chevy went to a different rear end in 1964, with a rear cover and 5 lug axles. Kits are avalable for this year. Will the kit fit a 1963 or does any one know of a place to buy a 1963 rebuilt carrier.

Seams the 63 was used from 55 to 63, so a local rebuilder told me all the parts are avalable. No price yet as he has to see what needs replacing.
