Default 305 interchangability

I have a 1991 Caprice with a stock TBI 305. My nephew has a 1970 Nova which currently has a 1988 Camaro TPI 305. My question is, would I be able to straight swap all of my ancillaries (including intake and TBI) over to this engine and drop it into the Caprice?

Default RE: 305 interchangability

Should be no problem. Check the rear seal area to mane sure both are 1 piece type rear seals and press on. The other issue is the bolt pattern on the front of the cylinder heads. Yours has a serpentine belt and a specific bolt pattern for that. Make sure His has the same bolt pattern for mounting accessories.
