78 nova base midel with 74 -350 ci. Motor- with HEI .I drive to town and ran great! Came out of appt. and turned key and zip ... No power to dash, lights, zero. No clunck , no clang, no gnnnn, no pop, no boom, Replaced battery, alternator, starter, solenoid. Still no power, but turn the key and starter goes to engage and stops at contact with flywheel. Put meter on all three wires to solenoid and have power. But no dash lights nothing. Shimmed starter and still starts to engage and stops at contact with flywheel. Im stumped beyond idiotville and frustrated to point of gas and a match and walk away PLEASE IN LAYMANS TERMS, big ted crayon and dry erase board me away from 4th of july celebration using it as igniter?!?!!!!
