Will 700R4 help?

I have a 72 Nova with a stock 350,TH350 trans.& 323 rear end. I am thinking about changing to a 700R4 trans. Does anyone know about how much better gas mileage I can expect on the highway?

The engine RPM will drop over 35 % when you install one of these transmissions mileage improvements of 30%
