This is a street legal licensed Arizona 1962 Chevy Nova (Chevy II) Tubed chassis it has a 502 cubic inch big block Chevrolet, aluminum heads full roller rocker with girdles. We were told by previous owner it is 11/1 compression. He also told us the engine came out of a famous hot boat "Kachina". I wish I knew more on the history of this car. We do know that the hand painted pin striping and graphics indicate it was done some time in the Late 1970s or 80s. We do believe it came out of the Portland area. We found no indications that this car is ever been in a wreck. After running a paint gauge over this car we found that it was one paint job over original. In order for the pin striping to be so faded out this car must have been waxed and polished a lot. Redline Service did an oil analysis and the number show she is in great shape. The casting on engine block indicate a 1971 truck motor. Just installed a pair of custom built Braswell 850 four barrel carburetors. Engine had a valve adjustment and tuning by the best drag shop here in Tucson. After the tune with the new carburetors we blew out one of the mufflers, so two new flow masters were installed. New aluminum radiator with twin fans. Also new aluminum Edlebrock water pump, new alternator, Interstate battery, Holley fuel pump. Full cage with bucket seats. We are not exactly certain of the transmission type, but believe it to be a Turbo 400 3-speed and has a B&M shifter. The rear end is a Ford 9 inch. Also installed is a Line Lock for the new front disc brakes kit. Also new brakes and rear wheel bearings. Also included brake master cylinder and hoses along with portioning valve. Front end just had work along with alignment. Original dash including the radio. New carpets along with heavy floor insulation. Body work on this car is very original shows no sign of accidents. This is a very tight original no wreck car. Original aluminum grille and chrome bumpers. Dash lights and tail lights are led with headlights that are high intensity Xenon type bulb. This car has everything you need to go from street to track and back home. Car has been a hit anywhere I have shown it! Dyno test that we did using 650 Holley Carburetors.
