Absolutely mint condition, all original, garage kept 1985 Monte Carlo SS. My father purchased this vehicle over 5 years ago from the 2nd owner of the vehicle. After purchasing the vehicle, it was immediately taken to a professional Automotive restoration expert to evaluate the whole vehicle and perform any maintenance needed. Besides a basic tune up, all of the fluids and filters were replaced, new battery, new OEM style headliner, Air Conditioning system conversion from R12 to R134a without any component changes (just R134a adapters and oil), and the alternator was rebuilt do to a bad diode on the bridge rectifier. The car has been meticulously cared for and maintained. It is a little dusty under the hood as shown in the pictures, but it is super clean. It has only seen cruises, car shows, and parades; no foul weather, and always garage kept. A car that is original like this and in such pristine shape is rare and still has the new car smell to it. The Monte Carlo has always been taken care of and the price reflects what the vehicle is and what a collector is looking for. This 1985 Super Sport came from the factory without bucket seats and power windows. I have not been able to track down the build numbers of this SS, but it is unusual in the fact that it does not have the normal trim package of a SS. Immediately after purchase, the first owner had the vehicle treated with Auto Armor rust proofing which is apparent in the trunk and other areas. All original, all stock, EVERYTHING functions perfectly as it did when it rolled off the assembly line.
