This is exactly what the guy I bought it from told me:
It is a 93 4x4 with 8 lug rears .Has AC,a Sony CD player,amp and box behind the seat.Aluminum American Racing rims,new front brake pads and rotors, spark plugs and cap/rotor. Has headers. It has a NJ inspection good thru 8/09. The trans was just rebuilt-cost me 1700 dollars. This would make a great work truck.
But of coarse there’s some bad.Needs front wheel bearings,paint on the hood is peeling,passenger side has dents and scratches,front tires are bald only on the outer half,and the cap door has no glass. Front drive shaft was removed for trans rebuild but wasn't put back because splines need greasing.
-I bought it as a crutch truck because the tranny went in mine. I figured I’d put the trans & motor in mine since the guy said the trans was recently rebuilt. But I didn’t realize that this is an HD 2500 and mine is a regular 2500 so the trannys wouldn’t match up. The trans in this truck is much bigger than mine. I only drove it for 2 wks until I got another trans for my truck. The power steering squeals and the steering is a little hard sometimes. It possibly needs a new pump.
