I just traded in my 2001 2500HD w/8.1L gas and forgot to put the original program back on the truck, so the Hypertech wont program another truck until it is sent in to Hypertech and reflashed.

If you call Hypertech and tell themthat yourtruck has been reflashed at the dealer and you cant reprogram your truck with the tuner, they will reflash the tuner for you. Not sure if there is a charge for that though.

Oh well, just found out it's not that easy. Doesn't even make a good paper weight or anchor.
