My husband, bless his heart but I really want to ring his neck, has completely BLOWN the 305 engine in his 1997 Chevy Cheyenne 4x4 Extended cab, 160,000 miles

Now, my question is... HOW MUCH should this truck be sold for at a decent and fair price considering the engine and all. It has a bunch of new parts on it- I just dont want to see this thing be let go for 4 or 500 when it may be worth more- he just wants the thing gone because he's so tired of working on it that I think he'll take anything at this point. I, however, would like to do my homework first!

I know absolutely nothing about trucks and their engines.. about all I know is how to blast the AC and change the radio station just to get my way

I'd appreciate any info so that I can make sure he doesn't make a hasty decision and regret it later!
