I have a 1999 Chevy Blazer LT 4.3 Ltr V6. RH drive Imported to Australia from Japan.
I need a RH Front door Latch. it has central locking and everything is working fine there. The door hinges are worn (It was like this when I purchased it) and the latch has copped a flogging over time on the strike bolt and has just collapsed.
Any one know where I might be able to pick one up. I will be replacing the upper and lower door hinges. There are a couple of places in Australia that import Blazer partsa near me (Sydney) But they want 3 times what I have seen other parts available for on ebay. I can import 5 x air filters for $90 (ACDelco) this price includes postage and one of the Importers wants $50 for 1 x.
Any help would be greatly appreciated!

 

Try rockauto.com. They have door hinges and pin kits. They also have air filters, although $90 for 5 including shipping to Australia is a good price.

 

Thanks oldchevy. I am familar with 'rockauto.com' I just found them the other day. they have a very comprehensive parts range but No Door Latch
and it is rockauto where I could have 5 shipped for the same postage price. The Aussie $ is rocking against the US $ at the moment which makes it very affordable for us Aussie Owners of American Vehicles. Loving it.
are there any wrecking yarss in America that Export to Australia?
