Stick to topic, and not cross post will yield better responses as the issue will remain on topic.
To find a ground issue that is probably causing your dome light issue with the speed sensor issue, you'll need a test light or ohm meter. This is just touch and go looking at electrical connections to ground. Start with checking the connector to ground, one side will be. If your issue with the dome light goes away with not pluging in the speed sensor, then you've found it.
