Default 1954 Bel Air Wiring

I am having problems with some mice and they are chewing up my wiring, most recent one was for the alternator. I have tried to find a Wiring diagram for the car with wire size and color. I have not been able to find one that I can print out and still be able to read it well. Can anyone help me, and tell me where to find a good diagram for the whole car? Its a 54 4dr Bel Air powerglide 6V.

First of all, I don't think you have an Alternator. Most 6v systems of that area use a Generator and Voltage Regulator, and the wiring is quite straight forward.

Take a look at this link...

and view the added closeup pictures. You'll see that the "use" of the terminals are clearly identified. Just re-wire it like it calls for on the regulator.
