I'm restoring my '55 and want to put a fuel tank under the bed. I prefer not to be forced to cut or movie any of the cross members or have to modify a fuel tank. Any recommendations on how to accomplish this? Thanks in advanced.

I've heard about putting the tank to a 65ish mustang. What does that entail and what is the best year. I'm looking for at least 15 gallons. I'm trying to keep the project relatively inexpensive.

my old truck was a different case {55 12"extended cab long bed with short bed stepside ) we were going to use a 59 surburbon tank to mount under the cab and bed along side the out side the frame .
you might check out a simular tank.we took the tank out of the bed also.
