So my dad used to have this Biscayne he used it alot but he left the country and its been sitting under a roof for 14 years, we lost the "papers" and i want to know if it would be possible to get new "papers" and if we can then how? the biscayne was stolen at one point for a month but police found it and returned the vehicle to my father(he cannot enter the country either), pretty much no one knows a thing about the vehicle anymore, the vehicle is under my grandfathers name(but he is now dead) the car is not running yet due to various problems, i live in texas, the vehicle has gone through lots of customizations (i've heard from my family) forgive me if im missing any important information like my user name i dont know a thing about vehicles but i am willing to learn, if i posted this in the wrong thread please direct me to the right one(s)

 

Go to the DMV with what you have, and situation. My state we can file for a lost title.
