Default 1971 c10 starter issues, hei distributor with 4 terminal starter

I recently replaced my ignition switch from a toggle and push button and had a 3 terminal starter to a 4 terminal starter, but now i get nothing. I have a 12g wire from my unfused ignition spot in my fuse panel hooked to the B+ side on the distributor, also from same spot on fuse panel a 12g wire to my electric choke. From the + on the battery is hooked to starter where its suppose to go on that same bolt is a wire to the passenger side fender junction box which I believe is suppose to run to the R position on the starter. From the S position is the purple wire to the ignition. When I had the starter that had only 3 terminals installed in the same way, the truck would turrn over but not start. I put a bigger starter in it which is the 4 terminal one, hooked up the same as the 3 one but now i get nothing. Any ideas on what im doing wrong?
