1993 5.7 into a 1997 gmc
Have a 93 350 I want to put into my 97 gmc. Is there any way to make it work with the computer or can I make it carbureted. Really want to use the 93 motor cause it only has 1500 miles and the 97 threw a rod

was the motor in the 97 a 350? im not sure but you might be able to swap the top half (use the 93 block/pistons/crank and use the 97 top half heads/intake.) and then you could use the computer for the 97. i would wait till someone else confirms this
