1995 Chevy G-20 Van
I have a 350 cu, 8 cylinder, 135,000 miles. I bought it brand new.
The EGR mount surface passage ( square hole ) going to the intake manlfold is clogged. I cleaned it as much as I could reached with small screw driver and pointed object ( scriber ) but still clogged. The square hole is a half inch deep from the surface then turns 90 degrees down which prevent me from reaching to clean it all the way through.
Is there any other ways to unclogged the hole without removing the intake manifold.
To verify this, I pushed the EGR diaphragm with my fingers while the engine was running but there was no change on the engine idle speed nor did stall. And, there's no engine light on.
I have already replaced the EGR valve with a brand new one when I did this test.
Please help! Thanks

you can run air intake cleaner into the passage way in the intake and let it soak.then if you have access to a compressor ,you can try to blow it out.if that don,t work you may need to remove the intake to clean it out properly.i myself personally have never seen an intake that clogged up in all my years as a auto technichan.
