I don't know about this particular engine but often on transverse engines, you remove the rear motor mount and can tilt the engine forward to make access easier...

I've asked around- the worst part is, nobody I know has had one or has worked on one-- event though it was the best selling car of it's year

yes this is a transverse mounted 4 banger. Where do I find the motor mounts? This thing is just crazy to do.. I just can't believe that this was developed like this

I found someone who will install the parts for me for $25.. Looks like I may just have to spend the $25... However, I don't know if they know what they are getting into and if that would be a hard quote or just an estimate?? Hmmm. Must ask more questions
