Have the typical start shut off 2 sec passlock prob. I was going to do the resistor bypass and after measuring resistance between cut yellow wire at top end and the peeled orange/black wire, all I read is an open circuit. Any ideas what would cause this? I installed a new wiring harness and it worked before. It took a while to get it to start and run but it did. As a matter of convenience (lol) I replaced the key and cylinder I got from another truck to match the door locks I took off of it as well. used same key. It cranks ok and starts and again the quick shut off. Am scratching my head on this one. Why open circuit? Thanks in advance.
