The back driver side window was starting to act up a few days ago. Wasn't rolling up all the way. We were able to kinda lead/jimmy it all the way up. But we kept accidentally hitting it on the driver's consol out of habit. My husband tried to pull it back up while engaging the button to close the small gap, it stayed up for a second and then fell ALL THE WAY DOWN and won't engage at all. We got the panel off but are now stumped.

 

Welcome from Florida. Sounds like you need to replace the window regulator. They have them at various qualities and prices.
