Default 2wd leveling kits

Spoiler

I have a 1998 Chevy Cheyenne that I want to put a leveling kit on. It’s a 2wd, the issue is I’m not sure how much of a lift I need for the front end. I’ve found 1.5 inch and 2inch leveling kits for this year model. I don’t know a lot about leveling kits or lift kits because I’ve never had one. Can someone help please.

measure the rear wheel arch heigh, then measure the front. Compare. You want a little bit more height in the rear for carrying loads.

I think you have torsion bar suspension in the front, so may not even need to buy anything. Just crank up the torsion keys.

Rear can be fixed by re-arching your rear leafs at a spring shop.
