Hi my name is Eric and new to the forum.I have a 64 chevy impala and am putting a 98 vortec 350 in, that came out of a tahoe. Its been rebuilt and converted to carburated. i know that the vortec has the reverse flow water pump but i dont like the bracket configuration on the 98 model. I know its silly but if you dont like whats under the hood then dont drive it! Well, anyway i dont like it because i dont like the location of the a/c compressor. My question is this with it being a 98 engine will the alternator and power steering pump bracket and the a/c bracket off an 01 350 5.7 vortec work? Any help will be very helpful thanks.
