Default 78 C-10 Stalling

I have a 78 C-10 which until lately was running good. The past week how ever it has started stalling when ever i accelerate from a stop. I thought maybe i was flooding it by accelerating from a stop so I've tried feathering it and same problem i still stall out. I swapped out the plugs and wires because i was misfiring on 3 of the 8 cylinders, but still every time i come to a complete stop and i start to accelerate i move a little then stall out. I thought it was the fuel pump so i sat in neutral and just revved it but nothing. It really only happens in drive because I've tried in reverse and that was fine. So now i am thinking it might be something with the the carb. Any advice?

More than likely you will need to have the carb rebuilt. You can buy a kit and do it yourself or have it done professionally. There are still a few places that rebuild carbs, not many but a few here and there.
