This is my 1985 c10 scottsdale 305, she runs just bought all new 20in tires. Shes sitting on boss 20 inch rims with a 2 inch drop kit. Payed $250 for her from a friend after he was tight on money. My question is where do i start on fixing her up? This is my first car and its a bit overwhelming actually. I just got a new job and my first checks coming soon. Inb4 "why would you wanna build a 305" "just get a 350 or a 383 stroker" im tight on money as its just minimum wage. Im not to concerned about the body as i can pick out of junk yards all day long for cheap. But as far as the motor goes shes all stock. My friend said something about a new transmission was put in it. Im not sure how to confirm this?? Any advice on what to do with this truck will be very helpful. Thanks!

 

Well, in my opnion, I'd have spent $ on productive issues instead of 20" wheels.

 

Hi I'm new to this but I have a 2000 Chevrolet C2500 and my theft control module went out and chevy does not make that part anymore. Would I be able to install a remote starter or something like that and will it work even though my control module is out?
