88' Jag XJS Conversion TPS question
Hi Folks,
305 TBI (year/model engine donor unknown), never has run "just right"...noticed that when the tab on the throttle goes to WOT the TPS still has about a 1/4" of travel left to move leaving it at about 3.30 volts. If you move the TPS by hand the rest of its travel you get 4.5. Wondering if someone has installed the wrong TPS on this, can some of them have a shorter range of movement to match the throttle and TPS meeting at WOT? Been a carb guy for 50 years...this just doesn't look right.
