98 4.3 problem
I have a 98 s10 blazer with 4.3 and my lifters r rattling so i pulled valvecover and no oil is coming out of pushrod have 40 pounds of oil presser on idle when hot motor runs great not missing has power just sounds like a diesel

it's possible that oil galleys/passages are clogged. also possible that oil pump is or has gone out. i would try running motor flush thru system, change oil. also possible that lifters are all shot, time to replace. how many miles on motor?
