Default Body parts

I’m currently building a 62 Bel Air for a client/friend. I wasn’t born until 66 so this stuff is way before my time. The car was a frame off, piece by piece fixed and painted. The owner has recently passed away so it’s hard getting any info on the car. Currently installing the headlight buckets but there’s something missing and I don’t know what it’s called or where to find it. I currently have a 1962 Chevrolet assembly manual for reference
the small bracket that the top, lower bolt goes to.......there’s nothing there. Any help would be greatly appreciated

This part will be difficult to find. Not impossible but difficult. You can improvise and make a part to take it's place. It is not a part that is visible and therefore will not detract from the looks of the car.
