c1500 Silverado had a remote start installed and now none of the gauges will function

c1500 Silverado had a remote start installed and now none of the gauges will function
So I let a guy install a remote start on my truck and now none of my gauges in the dash will work. If anyone has a clue what to do or check please point me in the right way. The Guy who installed the remote starter doesn't know what to do. The remote start works though.....
