Default Chevy 85 suburban

I recently bought a 1985 chevy suburban 4x4.
and i need help identifying the engine
The bloke said the the engine was a 8.2L big block which i found was a 502 CI

from what i can work out the engine has a edelbrock proformer 2.0 inlet manifold which is rated up to a 502 CI
the carb is a holley 750 CFM 4160 /3310-8 double pumper carb

and the engine is too close the the bulkhead to see the identification numbers

Any help would be appreciated

Could be a 500, may have come from a caddy. With the dual pumper 750 cfm, I don't thing would fit a 5.7, could be a 454

I know that the engine is not stock as it was a 6.2diesel and the gearbox is completely different.
