Default How to improve on improving

Hello guys, I'm also new here. Not real good with cars but i know a good deal about them. I have a 1987 chevette which i have put in a new carborator, timing belt, and everything else is fine. I would like to know if there is anything else that could improve the performance of the car, maybe better gas milage and so on. Could you guys help?

Kyle.

the only thing I could thing of for power would be a turbo..from an import.

fuel milage?

make sure it is maintaned properly.

tires, brakes, trans, oil..etc...make sure every point is greased like it should be.

shove its were not made for economy or power.

they were made to compete with the japanese cars of the day.

Try JC whitney's 2-bbl Weber converion kit.
MSD also make a High Performance HEI Coil
ACCEL makes a HEI Rotor kit
For better cooling I'm going to a radiator from an A/C chevette which has more surface area, and then go to a electric fan. The plastic fans take too much power from the motor.

A guy on myspace milled out a High Output head and put flat topped pistons in the motor an pulled a whapping 80HP
Check dieselchevettes.com and look around for "Scooter-Tubes"
