I found an all original 1980 Monza 3.8 Cabriolet. Its in pretty good condition and I plan to get the engine and tranny rebuilt once I save the cash but it would be fun to get it rolling untill then. The only thing stopping that from happening is the auto transmission, it holds fluid just fine but I cant get it to take any foreward gears. I can get reverse if I toy with it like a key in a worn out lock and once its there it runs just fine but thats all it will do. One mechanic told me it sounds like a foreward gear cylinder problem, any other input anyone has would be great.
