i have a 94 buick skylark with a 3100 engine it has obd 1.5 in it.it only has three wires going to the test port i tried jumping with a paper clip and nothing happened. is there a way to make this totally obd 2? the check engine light comes on then goes off. so does the abs light and the check oil light,i checked the oil it is fine. the other problem is when i come to a stop light and step on the gas the car takes it's sweet time getting going it has taught me to slow down a little i guess but it is annoying especially when my wife points out the lights all the time.

 

i checked it out a little better. if i start out putting the gear shift in second it takes off fine but i have to shift it by hand. the shift indicator on the dash has 2,3,4 or overdrive. usually i put it in overdrive but it doesn't shift it is in what i have been told is limp home mode,how do i get it out of limp home mode,could it be bad solinoids or bad pcm,the check engine light comes on and goes off.
