I have a 1957 chevy 1 ton dually 235 engine and the Saginaw 4 speed with granny low, it is going out. Is there a newer model tranny that will bolt up and replace that old dinosaur? I've heard of such a thing but would like some more info please. Thanx

Alot of the Chevy / GMC trucks in the 70's and early 80's came with the Muncie SM 465 four speed that had a granny gear. I dont know the dimensions but do know they are heavy as all get out and can take a pretty good beating.
