i traded an 87 mazda b22oo lowrider pick up for her even up, she had a new crate engine, which was the .030 350 chevy rated at 280hp, 355cid
i imediately started searching parts, and pulled the eng for sum edelbrock performer rpm heads, intake, harlandsharp roller rockers, huge comp cam, gear drive, holley 750cfm, msd6a, the suspension got all new gabriel race shocks, and lakewood traction bars, the 7.5 pegleg rear got a 4:10 ring and pinion, and welded the spiders to posi lock, the trans got junked and threwin a stock th350, untill she comes out next week to build, interior got a total makeover with buckets console, all 87SS dash trim, custom black upolostry, and equus guages, the frame and body got some extra braces welded in and bolted in the weak areas of the 4th gen Monte Carlo, the stock am/fm got trashed for a jcv /ipod4G on pioneer factory replacement speakers, 100wattin dash, 120watt rear deck, and the trunk seen a set of 12kicker cvr12s, with a 4000watt amp, exhaust was tuned by flowmaster with longtube headders, 3in exh and twin flomaster 40series, with GN turnouts, the stock SS wheels are now stored for the future, and she got 15x7front 15x8.5 rear centerline autodrag wheels and futura supersport gls 235/60sfront, 255/60srear, a 4in bolton harwood cowl hood, and an original SS rear spoiler, the nose and fenders came off another 84SS, then my dad give her white bath with lexanii eliete white base/clear paint (the same u find on ferarri's) then after reassembly she got the race car graffics, and transformer into the monster u now see

the build set me back a lil over 10G and 3years sofar, but u kno how projects are, they are never finished
future plans include a BBC and a world class t5 5speed trans and 12bolt rear, but who knows when thatll be

thanks for the nomination, and the privilage to be the car of the month
really makes all the time and $$$ worth it
