On me: I'm 51 years old and been married for 25 years this Oct. My wife's name is Lynda. I'm a event/freelance photographer. I have 3 kids, 23 year old daughter named Jessica, a 18 year old son named Rob, and a 17 year old daughter named Becca. We live in Gurnee Ill for the last 10 years. I grew up in the southern 'burbs of Chicago. Both my wife and I went to the same HS and started dating between our Jr and Sr year. I've always been into cars. My first car was a 70 GTO!

The car....I found the car in Waukegan Illinois in July 2002. It was owned by a young man that used it specifically for drag/street racing. The existing drive train and suspension was all there when I bought it, but it was "dressed" badly....the guy didn't care....he just wanted FAST... He had time slips in the low to mid 12's with slicks and open headers. The body is all original...it's on its second paint job.....the interior is 100% original except for the shifter and the tach, and it's loaded! Tilt, cruise, power windows, AM/FM and A/C (originally). The car had only 78,000 miles on it! The young guy had no idea what it was worth, so I showed up with 5 grand in cash....and he took it! I barely got it home as it was used to driving a 1/4 mile at a time....so after a lot of work and the correct "apparel", (dressed to KILL!) we started having fun with it. On one of the days I was working under the hood, my wife came out to the garage and asked what I was going to name the car...I didn't know....she said it was "tomato red" and that this should be the name. I said no, but it gave me an idea....I said I "see a license plate"...."KLRTMTO". She said what the heck was that?? And I said , "The Killer Tomato!!" She said she hated it...SO THAT SEALED IT! Her name became the Killer Tomato and I had it painted onto the back of the spoiler!
