1991 s-10 manual 2 power steering convertion??
Hello all, Im in the prosses of coverting a manual steering truck to power.
I had this done to an 89 s-10 years ago and had no issues. While talking to a parts guy at a local NAPA dealer, he mentions a "angle" in which the front tires have to be alined. Has anyone heard of this adjustment?????
It seems to me its just a matter of, gear box, hoses, pump, pully and mounting bracket. Have I left anything out??????
Thanks
Mike

the 3 angles involved in alignments of cars are, Toe, Caster, Camber http://autorepair.about.com/od/gloss..._alignment.htm
I do not see where any of the these 3 angles would be an issue on a pump swap from manual to power.
You should only need to install the new steering components and make recheck the alignment of all 4 tires and that should be that...
Hope this helps
