They book and many places online say that I should be able to find a Tan\Black wire under the passenger side carpet that I can disconnect for testing the timing. I cannot find this wire anywhere. Does anyone have any Idea where i can find it?

Also, I am very new to all of this, what is the purpose of the Tan\black wire disconnect? How does it change the test of the timing light?
