Default 1995 chevy s-10 hvac and high idle vacuum leak fix

I love working on my truck and learning new things. I was having problems with HVAC vent selection and a high idle. I fixed it with a check valve. I did have to ask a repair shop what the problem might be and they told me to look at the check valve.

????????????????? this make no sense at all. auto and manual tans both would run the same rpms:speed. no matter if it had a vacuum leak or not. if they had a higher rpm the speed would also be higher. watching this video is a total waist of time as you dont fix anything. i want to know why you have fuel line thats too big being used as vacuum line, i would be more into thinking your map sensor being routed to other things is more of an issue than anything. but im not sure how the s10 works i know on my 94 c1500 its not that way.

Glad you solved your issue. Haven't seen one of those vacuum storage ***** in years.
