Default 1995 s-10 p/u stalling problem

i am having a stalling problem with my 1995 s-10 p/u
truck will run for about 5 min. then engine will die.
thought it was a fuel pump problem so had it replaced
but when running it today the same thing happened.
this time it was while i was driving. truck just quit running and
had to pull to the side of the road. check guage light did come on
as well as the battery logo light. let sit for about 5min. and it
started back up but only ran for a short distance before stalling
again. any help would be appreciated

Did you replace the fuel filter when you replaced the fuel pump? Check to make sure your getting spark.

Did you find the problem with the truck? I'm having the same problem my s10 pu is a 92, it runs good then stalls, restart and have to feather the gas pedal to keep it running? Changed the fuel filter and did a complete tune up <no good> still have the problem? Any suggestions? TU

Change the filter then check fuel pressure with a gauge and fuel pump relay i have installed a few pumps that were defective right out of the box

Default 95 Blazer Stalling Issue

We are having the same problem you guys are having. We haven't figured out what is causing this, though!!!! We are hoping that because we have a bad cam and 2 bad lifters, by us replacing them, it fixes the whole problem. How can you tell if your crankshaft sensor is bad or not? Also, if the sensor is bad, would that cause the truck to work fine and then a couple of miles later, stall out? We don't have any problem cranking it back up, once it has stalled out. Let me know what you think. Thanks.
