I HAVE A 1997 BLAZER W 4.3 ENG. AND AUTO TRANS.ALMOST EVERY TIME I BRAKE ,WHEN THE ENG. RPM,S START TO COME DOWN THE ENG. STALLS. IT STARTS RIGHT BACK UP.I THOUGHT IT MIGHT BE A BAD BRAKE BOOSTER SO I DISCONNECTED THE VACUM HOSE TO THE BOOSTER AND PLUGED IT OFF AND TRIED IT AND IT STILL STALLED.I THEN TRIED DRIVING IT IN 1ST GEAR AND BRAKE AND STILL STALLS, THEN 2ND GEAR STIIL STALLS WHEN BRAKING.I ALSO TRIED PUTTING IT IN NEUTRAL WHEN BRAKING TO SEE WHAT HAPPENS AND IT STILL STALLS OUT. PLEASE HELP ME.

hello chris, try geting a free scan from a parts store, your sevice light might not be coming on and a scan sometimes picks up a code you would not know about. also, check all your fluids - and terminals especialy the ground and chassie wire. hope this helps.
