Default 1999 BLZER WON'T START, PROBLEM WITH FUEL SYSTEM

help,for some reason after i installed a new engine on my 1999 blazer, the fuel level gauge stopped working, some time after that it woulnd't start, turns out the fuel pump went bad[], I replaced fuel pump but it still doesn't start, my diagnostic scanner is giving me a po452and po463, I'm short on money[&o] so I'm trying to do it myself, any suggestions?

Sounds like there may be some grounding issues. There is a splice pack on the left frame rail near a crossmember that houses the sensor ground for the fuel level sensor, fuel pump, among other things.Check it to make sure there is no corrosion. If you want to eliminate that as a possible problem, you can cut all the wires from the splice pack(there are at least 7 black wires), solder all the wires together along with a new wire with a ring terminal on it, and find a clean part of the body, scrape the paint off and screw the ring terminal to the body
