Default 2.0 engine valve adjustments?

What are the correct clearances for the exhaust and intake valves on my 2.0? I am fixing up an 1984 S10 and am having a slight ticking noise. It's either a lifter or valves not adjusted right.

I'm probably going to get slammed on this, but here is how I adjust valve trains for 40 years.
Valve cover off (back in the day we had valve covers on that were cut out) running, gently run the stud nut on the rocker arm slightly till the tick is no more.
Otherwise I going to guess around .010"

Is that the clearance for both valves? Or with that method am I just adjusting until the noise goes away?
