2000 Chevy Blazer 4x4 5spd- No Reverse in 4wd

I have a 2000 model Chevy blazer 4 x 4 my 4 wheel drive works great going forwards but in reverse only 2 will spin any ideas?

on so correction, I have no 4wd @ all. I have a 5spd manual transmission with 3 buttons on dash for the 4wd, the dash buttons work and show me lock into 4lo, I hear the tcase switch, and my gear ratio changes as if I'm in 4lo, but when stuck my front wheels don't spin.

You don't have a true 4WD. You have open axles. That means that the side of the axle that has the least amount of action works while the other axles do the same. It may seem that going forward, they all work which is kinda rue but get stuck going forwards, it will be the same.
