I have a 2000 S-10 Blazer, 4 dr 4.3L Vortec,, and it doesn't want to start, runs rough and sticks at a high idle, around 2000, and the service engine light is on. Any body have an idea where I should start to look for the problem? I bought a code reader that's supposed to link to my tablet via WIFI but it's not playing well with either my tablet or smart phone.

 

Take the code reader back, get something that will link. Trying to figure your problem without a DTC is shooting craps.
