Default 2000 Chevy Blazer Window motor replacemen

I would like to see if anyone can point me in the right direction. Either a site or maybe someone who knows how.. I need to replace the window motor on the driver side door for my mom. I have replaced it on another car, and had to drill thru the rivets to remove and also thru the door wall to get to the new bolts to install the new one. So just wondering if anyone has a how to or know where i can find one.

Regarding 2000 Chevy blazer driver side door window motor replacement I also need help so if someone knows how to please help. They have the part available in my local AutoZone store so it can't be that hard but I'm stumped and figure I need to drill the rivets since I can't find a bolt anywhere except the 4 small cap screws on the motor core. I need to know how to remove and how to replace the motor.

Thanks, nedmacd

1}remove window regulator.
2}drill a hole through the window regulator and the sector gear.
3}install a bolt an nut through the hole in order to lock the sector gear in position.
4}drill out the rivets tht secure the power window motor to regulator.
5}remove the power window motor from the window regulator.
6}install new motor to the regulator.

DONT FORGET TO REMOVE THE BOLT AND NUT THE YOU INSTALLED THROUGH THE HOLE YOU DRILLED!!!!!!!!!!!!!! GOOD LUCK

PS: I ASSUMED THAT YOU KNOW HOW TO REMOVE THE DOOR PANEL. IF NOT LET ME KNOW.

Regarding 2000 Chevy Blazer driver side front window lift motor replacement.

1. I drilled out and removed the lift motor.
2. I secured the sector gear to the lift bracket by drilling a hole and assembling a bolt and nut through it.
3. I drilled out and removed 4 rivets from the regulator bracket.

Now I'm stuck and don't know how to remove the regulator bracket and sector gear assembly or disconnect it from the window lift arm assembly. Also the rivet shafts in the lift motor holes cannot be removed because of the sector gear right behind it. I am beginning to think this is mission impossible and I need to exchange the lift motor I purchased for a lift motor and regulator assembly. Then I need somebody to explain how to disconnect and reconnect the regulator and lift motor assembly to the lift arm assembly. Its tight inside the door panel and I can't see what to do even with a mirror. Help! Anybody

Regarding my worst do-it-yourself project ever (replacing a window lift motor on a 2000 Chevy Blazer driver door), I need instructions on how to get the regulator bracket and sector gear assembly out of the door so I can try to put a new motor on the regulator bracket. If this is supposed to be obvious or fall out by itself, my regulator is not and I need help please! I already have drilled out the 4 rivets holding the regulator bracket to the inner door panel and have it loose. What is the next step in trying to get it out of the door?

Thanks Ned
