I have a 2000 Chevy S-10 with fairly low mileage and am looking to drop the cat off, throw on a pacesetter header and slap on a flowmaster 40 series muffler with dual 2 1/4" tailpipes. Anyways, with regarding removing my CAT, I already know that by taking this off I will throw a code telling me that my catalyst is not working efficiently, so I am looking for any info or pro's and con's of the o2 sensor simulators that are out there. Have any of you tried them on this truck? how do they work and any brands in particular that you recommend? There are some on ebay that seem to be universal for vehicles made after 1996 and they are only 10 bucks so I was wondering how that would do. Any and all help would be greatly appreciated. Thanks.
