2001 Blazer replaced alternator now engine won't stay on
I replaced the alternator on my 2001 Chevy blazer to night in the auto zone parking lot. I drove there just fine after jumping the battery... hence the alternator needing to be replaced... After installing the new alternator and charging the battery the truck will start but immediately shuts off once it starts. The security light blinks while trying to start it but goes off once truck shuts off. I've watched videos and will try using a resistor to trick the anti theft system tomorrow when I can go buy the parts needed to do so. Any other ideas?
