Hello, New to the forum and Chevy Blazers. Just bought my first one this week. A 2003 2door 4X4.
My question is: The radio continues to play even after shutting the car off and pulling the key out. I have to shut it off manually. Never owned a vehicle that the radio didn't shut off automatically when you turn the key off. Is this normal, or do I have an electrical issue?

Is this the factory radio or an aftermarket radio? It sounds like it is wired wrong.

 

Yes, it's the factory radio. I mentioned what's going on with another owner and he had me start the car, turn the radio on, shut the car off and open the door. Problem solved. The radio turned off as soon as I opened the door. Never owned a vehicle that did this before.
I'm sure I'll have other questions as time goes on. I just got it registered yesterday, so I only have one full day with it so far, but like it.
